Soul Friend Flowers is a small, urban flower farm in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We grow flowers in our 1/5-acre yard and depend on nature’s cycles to inform what’s ready to harvest. All flowers sold at Soul Friend Flowers are grown with love using organic practices.
We envision a community where everyone has access to fresh flowers, not just those with financial resources. That’s why we redistribute a portion of proceeds and bouquets to community members with less access to resources.
We partner with organizations that support our community members who have less access to resources.
Kitchen Angels: Founded in 1992, Kitchen Angels serves residents of Santa Fe and other Northern New Mexico communities who are homebound, in a health crisis, lack the resources for regular meals, and are not eligible for other local meal services. Kitchen Angels believes no one in our community who is homebound because of a chronic, surgery-related, or terminal medical condition should ever go without appropriate nutrition. Making sure those in need have enough to eat is simply the right thing to do.
Santa Fe Mutual Aid: The mutual aid network is a network of community volunteers working to support one another, friends, family, and neighbors to meet each other’s basic survival needs at this critical time. It is a system of community to community support and organization for resource sharing, information dissemination, and resilience-building. The Santa Fe Mutual Aid Network is a grassroots-led effort with organizing and coordination support from Earth Care YUCCA/Poder Familiar, Red Nation, the Democratic Socialists of America - Santa Fe, and Fathers New Mexico.
